About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative andexperienced Fashion Designer to lead the design direction of our boutiquelabel. The ideal candidate will bring strong aesthetic sensibilities, excellentcraftsmanship, and a deep understanding of current fashion trends and, fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and create seasonalcollections that align with the boutique’s brand identity and target clientele.
• Select fabrics, trims, and accessories,ensuring quality, suitability, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee garment fittings and work closelywith pattern makers and tailors to ensure perfect fit and finish.
• Research global fashion trends, colourpalettes, fabrics, and silhouettes relevant to the Singapore market.
• Propose new design ideas and innovativetechniques to strengthen the brand’s competitive edge.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, andartisans to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standardsand timelines.
• Coordinate with merchandising, sales,and marketing teams to align design direction with business goals.
• Provide professional fashion advice duringfittings and bespoke sessions.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design orrelated discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years of fashion design,boutique styling, or ethnic wear coordination.
• Strong understanding of sarees, fabrics,draping styles, color theory and garment construction.
• Knowledge of AARI work, hand embroiderytechniques, and understanding of embroidered blouse detailing.
• Proficient in basic design illustration(digital or hand-drawn)
• Excellent communication, andinterpersonal skills, and client-handling finesse.
• Strong time management and ability tomultitask in a busy boutique environment.
