Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:
Facultative Reinsurance Team Leader (1-year contract)
We will count on you to:
Lead teams located in Singapore and India, focusing on technical accounting and claims management.
Utilize data insights to analyze and address client challenges.
Collaborate with the Client Support Services (CSS) team to review and set up complex contracts within the system.
Prepare materials and actively participate in strategic meetings.
Develop and implement processes to resolve operational issues, uphold standards, and ensure the CSS team adheres to procedures and professional guidelines to meet all processing SLAs.
Work closely with brokers to develop processes that fulfill client servicing needs for complex accounts.
Conduct training sessions for CSS colleagues as needed, provide support and guidance to team members, and contribute to the development of departmental resources.
Approve leadership reports and present technical information and metrics to key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Implement quality assurance measures and keep abreast of regulatory changes.
Lead strategic projects as assigned.
What you need to have:
More than 10 years of reinsurance experience. Prior experience in Facultative Reinsurance is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent Microsoft suite skills including Excel and Power Automate.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
