Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. is seeking an Engineer, Factory Automation (AHMS) in Singapore to support reliability and continuous improvement of automated material handling systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The role involves analyzing system performance, troubleshooting automation equipment, and implementing enhancements to boost productivity. Candidates with internships or co-ops welcome; comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor AMHS and MCS performance, availability trends, and operational metrics to ensure reliable wafer transport across the facility.
Troubleshoot, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for automation equipment, software and control systems.
Lead continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and automation enhancements to improve reliability and productivity.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Facilities, IT, and suppliers to support safe and effective factory automation operations.
Perform all activities safely and support EHSS requirements and programs.
