About the role
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of factoring clients by ensuring optimal client performance, maintaining strong client relationships, monitoring credit quality, and maximizing portfolio profitability. The role combines risk management, client service, and commercial insight while supporting business expansion.
What you'll be doing
- Portfolio Management
- Oversee a portfolio of factoring clients, ensuring all facilities operate within approved terms, limits, and risk parameters.
- Monitor client performance through regular financial reviews, payment behaviour, and concentration analysis.
- Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and take proactive steps to mitigate risk.
- Relationship & Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
- Address client inquiries and provide solutions on facility utilization, collections, and disbursements.
- Ensure smooth handover from origination.
- Support client retention and satisfaction by offering insights to optimize their working capital efficiency.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, factoring guidelines, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Review transaction patterns to detect potential fraud, money laundering, or invoice manipulation.
- Coordinate with credit risk and compliance teams on portfolio reporting, exceptions, and remedial actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with collections, operations, and credit teams to ensure seamless factoring operations.
- Develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and risk-control frameworks.
What we\'re looking for
