Facility Manager (Banking Industry)
Location: Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), Singapore
Salary: SGD 5,000 – 6,000
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of facilities within a banking and corporate office environment. The role is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well‑maintained workplace while supporting business continuity in a highly regulated setting. This position works closely with internal teams, external vendors, and building management to deliver smooth facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of office facilities and critical support areas.
- Supervise vendor performance for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and technical support.
- Conduct routine inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate repair works, maintenance activities, and facility upgrades with minimal operational disruption.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to banking security protocols, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Maintain facility documentation, permits, records, and audit materials.
- Support monitoring of vendor compliance and service level agreements.
Budgeting & Procurement
- Track facility‑related expenses and monitor budget utilization.
- Assist in procurement processes such as sourcing quotations, evaluating proposals, and vendor selection.
Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with building management, contractors, and service providers.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on facility‑related issues.
- Manage internal requests and ensure timely resolution.
Business Continuity & Safety
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and incident response.
- Implement safety initiatives and conduct workplace risk assessments.
Requirements
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility or property management.
- Experience managing facilities within the banking or financial services sector is required.
- Strong understanding of building operations, M&E systems, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience working with vendors, SLAs, and compliance‑driven environments.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management systems.
- Willing to be on standby for urgent facility matters when necessary.
