Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and coordinate various services and equipment. The ideal candidate should have NTC/NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a heavy machinery environment. Responsibilities include managing maintenance programs and attending to reported faults. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and good communication skills are essential.

- Able to commit to overtime work.

Job Description:
- Maintain and coordinate Preventative Maintenance Program for all Facilities Builder works, Air‑condition, Electrical, Fire Protection System, Security Access System, Landscaping, Pest Control and etc, and Mechanical Equipment like Overhead Cranes, Welding Machine, Forklift, Air Compressor, and etc, aided by Max‑Maintenance Portal system.
- Attend to fault reported and repair building fixture, plumbing, mechanical & electrical services at the general office, workshop and office, warehouse and office at three NOV facilities.
- Take actions in Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Purchase Order Receiving.
- Assist in the supervision of cleaning and security services to spelled out in contractor Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Assist facility department with absence coverage.
- Perform other work‑related tasks as and when business requirements dictate.
- Comply with all NOV’s Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
Requirement:
- NTC / NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of hands‑on experience in heavy machinery environment.
- Able to read technical drawings/manual to carry out maintenance work independently.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Good written & communication skills
- Able to commit to overtime work
