Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Plant Operations Technician in Singapore. The role requires experience in ACMV and the ability to work shifts. Key responsibilities include supporting plant operations, supervising contractors, and performing inspections. The ideal candidate has a Higher NITEC/NITEC in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience. Competitive salary package includes a basic salary of up to $4000 and additional bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ACMV / Chillers.
• Able to perform normal and/or shift duties – 12-hour shift or other shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of Plants' Operations & Maintenance works.
• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise contractors on daily O&M works.
• Promptly investigate and report equipment defects and deficiencies.

• Working Hours: 8am to 8pm OR 8pm to 8am
• Shift Pattern: 4 day shifts, 4 off days, 4 night shift, 4 off days
• Salary: Up to $4000 (basic) + Night Shift $50/night + 3 mth bonus
• Location: Ang Mo Kio

Job Scope

• Assist in the execution of Plants' Operations & Maintenance works
• Attend daily toolbox and work meeting conducted by Engineer and Supervisor.
• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise contractors on the daily routine and non-routine O&M works and troubleshooting, as assigned
• Carry out daily walk-through plant inspection.
• Upkeep maintenance records, work area and tools
• Assist the Engineers in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts
• Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies, and abnormalities
• May be assigned to support district cooling works at other project locations after necessary trainings and to work independently where required (e.g. 1 staff per shift)
• Any assignment/activity/work tasked by the management.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC/NITEC in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/Refrigeration from a recognized educational institute
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ACMV / Chillers
• Able to perform normal and/or shift duties – 12- hour shift or other shift pattern as per project requirement
