A leading HR advisory company in Singapore is seeking a Building Technician to manage M&E services and operations. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, conducting inspections, troubleshooting systems, and managing stock control. The ideal candidate should be adept in M&E services and able to respond to emergencies effectively. Competitive salary and shift-based working hours offered.
1. Coordinate and assist in the daily operation of the M&E services, such as carrying out all planned maintenance schedules and periodic inspection, and up-keep of the common area.
2. To perform weekly checks on the estate’s M&E system, including minor troubleshooting on failure of systems.
3. To carry out minor troubleshooting on any failure on the M&E systems.
4. To maintain a proper stock control for all mechanical/electrical accessories and materials purchase.
5. To respond to ad-hoc complaints received from the Management office from time to time.
6. To respond and attend to all emergency calls, and for reinforcement of manpower during minor breakdown of M&E equipment within the estate’s common area.
7. To ensure that service contractors conduct the servicing properly and in accordance with the service contract.
8. To follow external contractors that are at site to carry out routine servicing.
9. To attend to any other job function on M&E related issues that may be assigned from time to time.
10. To carry out minor items of repair, such as repair of fixtures/fittings and touch up painting.
