Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore seeks a Facilities Officer to oversee maintenance contractors and ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will manage service contracts and perform site inspections. A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Integrated Facility Management is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong project management and communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supervising external contractors for maintenance of properties and facilities.
  • Able to work under pressure.

Job Description – Facilities Officer
  • Supervise term contractors in the maintenance of properties and facilities to accomplish maintenance program schedule, compliance to regulatory requirements, and to achieve operational efficiency
  • Manage and review service contracts to meet facilities management targets and to achieve cost‑effective operations
  • Conduct schedule site inspection and KPI audit
  • Plan and supervise building and facilities upgrading projects
  • Prepare job specifications for tender/quotation exercise, evaluation submissions and recommend contract award
  • Monitor and maintenance services expenditure
  • Process invoice verification
  • Any other duties assigned
Job Requirements – Facilities Officer
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Integrated Facility Management
