Job description

Our client is a well-established, large-scale convention and events venue operator in Singapore. They are seeking a seasoned Facilities Management Director to lead facility development, asset enhancement, and facilities management operations for a high-profile, complex built environment.

This is a senior leadership role with strong influence over long-term infrastructure strategy, sustainability initiatives, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • strategic planning, budgeting, and delivery of development, renovation, and asset enhancement projects
  • end-to-end project lifecycle, from concept design and approvals through procurement, execution, and completion
  • Ensure operational readiness and preventive maintenance of all facilities
  • Drive compliance with building codes, fire safety, workplace safety, and environmental regulations
  • Champion energy efficiency, sustainability, smart building systems, and long-term asset management strategies
  • Manage and lead facilities management teams and external service providers
  • Prepare reports and present updates and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Housekeeping, and F&B
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in facilities development and management
  • Background in hospitality, MICE, large venues, mixed-use developments, or complex commercial facilities preferred
  • Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Green Mark, Fire Safety, and sustainability-related certifications are advantageous
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders and vendors
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and project management
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent in English
