Job summary

A leading semiconductor fabrication company in Singapore is seeking an Engineer to join their Facilities Operations Department. The role involves operating and maintaining various facilities systems, ensuring 24-hour support through shift duties. Candidates should have a Master or Degree in Engineering with up to 7 years of experience in relevant industries. This position is open to entry-level applicants as well.

  • 1-7 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred.
  • Experience in ISO for safety.

We’re searching for an Engineer to be part of our Facilities Operations Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on
  • To Operate and maintain facilities systems such as Control, Electrical, Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems, Fire Protection & Detection, Ultra-Pure Water, Cleanroom System, Industrial Waste Treatment Plants and Chemical and Gas Systems for a Wafer Fabrication plant
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to provide 24-hour facilities support to Fab to ensure continuous and smooth operation.
  • Review of system status in FMCS and alarm analysis
  • Troubleshooting and service normalization
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and system calibration on a timely basis
  • Perform 1st line incident handling, alarm response & breakdown repair works as well as actively participate in ERT incident
  • Perform inspection rounds and manual data logging for facilities system.
  • Perform facilities system isolation or lock out for after office hours contractor works
  • Maintain good housekeeping in Facilities Center, ensure good safety practice and safe custody of keys, tools, documentation, equipment and other properties belonging to Facilities Center.
  • Appointed shift leader will perform shift handover, planning & allocation of daily tasks to shift members, generation of system performance & weekly utility consumption reports.
  • Shift leader will also handle all communication, daily log, EAR write-up & sign off, co-ordinate Work Permits and CMMS management.
More about you
  • Master / Degree in Science or Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering or equivalent
  • 1-7 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred.
  • Experience in ISO for safety

  • Basic engineering knowledge, which may include knowledge in safety, industrial automation & industrial control systems
  • PLC & SCADA Programming know how
  • Proficient in Microsoft business applications.
