Job description
Overview
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer – Dairy Products
  • Position Title: Facilities Engineer
  • Working Location: Pioneer (Transport provided from Jurong East bus terminal)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:45am – 5.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain production/utility equipment; execute PM/CM to reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic issues; coordinate vendor repairs; manage spare parts.
  • Support new machines, line upgrades, and commissioning with QA/R&D/Production.
  • Manage building systems (lighting, water, HVAC, power, air, fire protection); schedule contractors; do minor repairs.
  • Track maintenance/facility costs; support budgeting; drive cost savings.
  • Ensure WSH/ISO/food-safety compliance; maintain records; support NEA/SCDF/MOM audits.
  • Improve reliability, energy efficiency, and waste reduction; assist small projects.
  • Perform other ad hoc assignments and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2–5 years plant/factory maintenance preferred.
  • Basic know-how: electrical panels, compressors, mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience coordinating vendors/contractors.
  • Familiar with WSH/ISO standards; proactive, independent, and a team player.
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience is a plus.
