Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Management Supervisor. Responsible for planning and supervising contractors for maintenance works, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Candidates should have a Higher Nitec or Diploma in relevant fields and over 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance. A Class 2/3 driving license and ability to work weekends preferred.

Qualifications

  • More than 2 years’ experience in Facilities/M&E maintenance.
  • Class 2/3 Driving license preferred and able to cycle.
  • Able to work on weekends for critical repair works.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise contractors for M & E preventive maintenance works.
  • Conduct daily routine inspection for building/M&E facilities works.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with security and safety requirements.

Job description

Plan and supervise contractors for M & E preventive maintenance works such as Crane/ Air compressor/ Fire protection system/ Lift/ Cooling tower / Air Con/ Ejector pump, etc.

Plan and supervise contractors for building services works such as cleaning / landscaping/ waste management, renovation, etc.

Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance such as replace light tubes/fitting, install power points, etc.

Conduct daily routine inspection for building/M&E facilities works.

Record meter reading to monitor electricity /water consumption.

Ensure contractor comply with security and safety requirements for corrective and preventive maintenance works.

Raise purchase request for worksandperform acceptance of workscompleted by contractor e.g. pest control, grass cutting, etc.

Response to emergency call including after office hours e.g. power failure, fire incident, etc.

Assist in fire drill exercise.

Qualifications

Higher Nitec or Diploma in Facilities Management or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Resourceful and able to work independently.

Class 2/3 Driving license (preferred) and able to cycle.

More than 2 years’ experience in Facilities/M&E maintenance.

Able to work on weekends for critical repair works.
