Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to maintain and upgrade critical electrical systems in our advanced manufacturing environment.

You will ensure strict EHS compliance, perform routine and preventive maintenance from 230kV to low voltage, support commissioning and startups, mentor junior technicians, and help deploy SMART diagnostics tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years in electrical maintenance in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, schematics, safety codes; ETAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across electrical activities.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems ranging from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators and UPS.
• Support commissioning and startup of new electrical systems and upgrades.
• Identify and fix electrical problems using structured troubleshooting steps.
• Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to mitigate potential failures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems and compliance reports.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in technical training programs.
• Support deployment of SMART diagnostics tools and digital systems.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems ranging from 230kV to Low Voltage , including emergency generators, UPS systems, and power quality equipment.

• Support commissioning and startup of new electrical systems and infrastructure upgrades.

• Identifyand fix electrical problems usingstructuredtroubleshooting stepsor procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments and FMEA toidentifyand mitigate potential system failures.

• Maintainaccuratedocumentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and compliance reports.

• Mentor junior technicians andparticipatein technical training programs to elevate team capabilities.

• Support deployment of SMART diagnostics tools and digital systems to improve maintenance efficiency and system intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.

• Experience:Minimum2+ yearsin electrical maintenance and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge ofHV/MV/LV systems, electrical schematics, and safety codes. Familiarity withETAP,IEC standards, andpredictive maintenance toolsis a plus.

• Communication: Effectivecommunicatorwith strong teamwork and documentation skills.

• Problem Solving:Demonstratedability to resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.
