Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a Facilities Building Services Engineer in Singapore to oversee building maintenance for multiple sites and external areas. The role covers maintenance systems, cafeteria, janitorial, civil works, landscaping, pest control, and office furniture planning.

You will lead outsourcing tasks, develop SOPs, and drive safety and compliance while partnering with site teams to ensure operations meet budget, schedules, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building related field.
• Experience in building maintenance related fields is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact is desirable.
• Interest in semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope of work for the provision of outsourced services.
• Develop standard operating procedures and risk assessments for routine and non-routine works.
• Lead daily meetings to manage day-to-day operations.
• Manage and assign FMS work tasks.
• Provide project management to meet budget and schedule on multiple projects.
• Provide guidance and training to building services technicians and technologists as required.
• Ensure progress towards goals and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead and manage all works to achieve high safety standards.
• Maintain performance metrics for in-house contractors and service providers.
• Collaborate with site departments to meet internal customer requirements.
• Listen to concerns and ideas from employees.
• All team members complete learning items within the time frame.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
