Facilities Building Manager

Salary Range: S$4,600 – S$5,500/month
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Location: Tanglin & Bukit Batok (Currently in Tanglin, but if required at Bukit Batok then its rostered) - Overseeing 2 locations

Working Hours
  • 6-day work week | 44 hours per week
  • Tuesday to Sunday, Monday off
  • Flexi-hours depending on operational schedule
  • Weekends required due to operational activities
  • Typical rostered hours:
    Tue–Sat: 9:00am–6:00pm or 9:30am–6:30pm
    Sun: 7:00am–2/3pm (half-day)
  • Hours may shift based on events or operational needs
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end building and facilities operations across two campuses. The role includes managing a facilities team, ensuring that buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and service providers meet operational standards, compliance requirements, safety guidelines, and business needs.

You will oversee both day-to-day operations and long-term asset planning, including CAPEX/OPEX management, contract oversight, maintenance coordination, and emergency preparedness planning.

This position requires a professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and facilities management experience within large, multi-site environments.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day building operations for two locations.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, facility upkeep, and building improvement works.
  • Work closely with external facilities management vendors and technical contractors.
  • Ensure facilities remain operational, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

CAPEX & OPEX Management

  • Plan, forecast, and monitor operating expenses and capital expenditure.
  • Oversee refurbishments, renovations, and building-related projects.
  • Provide regular management reports on financial and project status.

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Manage procurement, contract renewals, and service provider performance.
  • Recommend improvements and cost-effective solutions for operational efficiency.

Event & Space Coordination

  • Coordinate facility usage and space planning for major events and activities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of large-scale events.

Compliance, Safety & Emergency Preparedness

  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety codes, licenses, and permits.
  • Develop SOPs, fire safety procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Drive workplace safety and health initiatives.

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of facilities officers.
  • Schedule and plan operational rosters and manpower deployment.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Building & Project Management, or related field.
  • Strong experience in building operations, facility management, contract/vendor management, and multi-site supervision.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, CAPEX/OPEX planning.
  • Strong leadership ability with experience managing facilities teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible working hours based on operational needs.
  • Resourceful, dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable managing operational duties across multiple sites.
