Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in high, medium and low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Experience with maintenance practices for semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage and associated power quality equipment.
• Oversee risk assessments, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, and expansion projects to meet production demands.
• Provide engineering oversight during design and construction phases.
• Mentor engineers and technicians through training and on-site engagement.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Facilities Electrical Senior Engineer to lead the Engineering, Maintenance, and strategic development of on-site electrical systems. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical infrastructure supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align with site, corporate, and departmental goals. They will contribute expert technical knowledge to advance innovative solutions, ensuring visible impact at the project or program level. The role also requires awareness of leadership skill development, fostering growth in both technical and leadership dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.
• Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
• Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
• Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.
• Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.
• Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.
• Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
• Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
• Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.
• Leveraging AI to improve electrical system and workflow
• Procurement tasks involving ARIBA / SAP software for the purchase of services and parts to upkeep the Facilities Electrical System

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master's preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical
• Have experience in electrical systems design, maintenance, and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.
• Knowledgeable and experienced and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work for electrical systems within the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments
• Proficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incidents investigation.
• Ability to work in a team environment with various professional levels.
• Familiarity with sustainability efforts (electricity, waste, water reduction) is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Strong documentation, analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
