Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and serve customers with a warm, friendly attitude to ensure an enjoyable experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of Indian beverages (such as chai, masala tea, coffee, and lassi) and ready‑made Indian snacks (such as samosas, vada pav, pakoras, sandwiches, and rolls).
- Takeaway customer orders accurately and deliver food and drinks promptly.
- Handle cashiering duties, process payments, and manage daily sales records.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service area, dining space, and food preparation zones at all times.
- Ensure food and beverage quality, presentation, and taste meet company standards.
- Assist with stock inventory, ordering, and replenishment of raw materials and supplies.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and halal requirements in line with SFA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily café operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries courteously.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Malaysian, Singaporean or PR only (due to quota limitations).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B or café service preferred.
- Passionate about Indian snacks and beverages, with a desire to learn preparation techniques.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (WSQ Level 1) preferred – can be arranged if not available.
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Immediate starters preferred.
