A premium hospitality corporation in Singapore seeks a Food & Beverage Controller to oversee accounting, purchasing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include daily financial audits, inventory counts, and ensuring quality standards for food and beverages. Knowledge of HACCP is a plus, and candidates with a proven track record in upscale environments are preferred.
Food & Beverage Controller
This vital role significantly contributes to the accounting, purchasing and maintenance functions of the restaurant. These include daily audits of financials, weekly and month-end inventory for food and supplies, placing food and beverage orders with vendors, receiving of deliveries, organizing and rotating products and reconciling gross margin with sales audit. In addition, you will balance the restaurant bank accounts, make bankdeposits, place service and maintenance calls and other duties as assigned.
More specifically, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Hospitality Management. The individual should have a proven track record of success as F&B Controller or comparable position. The candidate should demonstrate strong understanding in financial accountability and audits, cost controlling, inventory management, pricing and purchasing, and maintenance of high quality F&B products.
At least 3 years experience of working in similar roles in upscale hospitality environment. Knowledge of HACCP an advantage.
