Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for an Export Customer Service Officer/Executive to manage customer interactions and ensure timely export documentation. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in logistics and possesses strong communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Working hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm with alternate Saturdays.

Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as an Export Customer Service (Officer / Executive). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, ensuring accurate and timely export documentation, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver smooth shipment processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring prompt, reliable, and professional service.
  • Provide flight details to customers within 1 hour of booking confirmation.
  • Verify and process export documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Apply for export permits and manage customs clearance on time.
  • Handle customer calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor onboard shipment status and update customers on any irregularities.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments (Operations, Warehouse, Traffic, Planning, etc.).
  • Ensure correct and updated airfreight rates are applied.
  • Keep up to date with new airline or government requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly customer reports accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on shipment status and handling.
  • Ensure shipments are processed in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Support Sales and other teams with special arrangements when required.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or export operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
Other Information
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 6:30pm;
  • Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am – 1:00pm
