Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, editorial, or production roles, with expert-level craft across Word/Excel/PowerPoint or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, and a sharp eye for errors and formatting drift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery.
• Strong ability to identify formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for board-ready quality.
• Conduct formatting, templating, and brand-compliance checks across multiple documents.
• Provide QA oversight on client-facing proposals, ensuring cross-document consistency.

We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced heads of document production who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.

We're looking for heads of document production with 5+ years reviewing, proofing, and quality-checking business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks before executive or client delivery to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: board‑ready slide deck formatting reviews, financial model and spreadsheet formula audits, executive memo proofing passes, brand and template compliance checklists, client‑facing proposal document reviews, and cross‑document consistency trackers.

Compensation: $70/hour

Commitment: Flexible, 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired)

Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule

Start date: ASAP
