Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced beautician who is right away able to provide beauty services to our clients, assist in training and supervising non-experienced therapists. Further, she is able to handle staff in the branch in the absence of the leader.

Services that are included are waxing, IPL service, EMS and other removal treatments, and advising clients on personal care routines to match their style and needs. You should listen to your clients in order to provide them with the best styles and services.

To be a successful beautician, you should have a wide range of skills in beauty services, good communication skills, and the ability to advise clients on suitable hairstyles, nail colors, and skincare regimen. You should also have the retail skills necessary to sell other beauty services and products.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Use waxing and electrolysis to remove facial and body hair
• Conduct skin analysis (face and body)
• Manage appointments, sell and promote available services
• Ensure that follow ups on previous day customers are done on a timely manner.
• Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival and look after welfare of guests
• Update client records with contact details and treatments received
• Initiate CRM programs to ensure client loyalty by ensuring the standards of service and facilities are met at all times.
• To answer customer complaints and improve service or treatment standards.
• Cross-sell beauty products and additional treatments, when appropriate
• Ensure all areas are clean and equipment is sterilized before use
• Helping to mentor junior beauty therapists and train new starters
• Providing professional beauty treatments
• Promoting services and package
• Liaise and support the Branch Manager and supervise staff in the absence of the Manager
• Attend relevant training courses
• Make sure that the treatment rooms and salon are clean, safe, and hygienic
• Oversee the booking of treatments and ensure the staff rota is up to date
• Keep track of stocked products and inform the Salon Manager when stock needs replenishing
• Others as may be assigned by the Management

What we are looking for

• Proven work experience as Beauty Therapist or similar role
• Hands-on experience with massages, hair removal techniques and face therapies, eyelash extension
• Excellent communicator and ability to build a rapport with clients
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
• Up-to-date with cosmetic trends and beauty treatments
• High school diploma or Degree in Beauty therapy, Reflexology or relevant field is a plus
