We are seeking a creative, analytical, and user-centered UI/UX Designer to join our digital experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences that balance user needs with business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform ideas into seamless and impactful digital experiences.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in design thinking, user research, and interaction design, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable operating in fast-paced, collaborative environments and thrive on crafting solutions that delight users and drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design iterations optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Conduct and leverage data analysis, user research, benchmarking, and content audits to inform design recommendations and UI decisions.
- Define product requirements based on user insights, business needs, and stakeholder feedback.
- Structure ambiguous problems and define clear design tasks to bring clarity to complex challenges.
- Develop and present end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and design solutions to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Navigate and influence multiple stakeholder groups to ensure design outcomes align with core business and user goals.
- Develop and administer quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to test user perceptions and gather actionable feedback.
- Support technical teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure accurate design implementation and strong user experience.
- Facilitate and lead design-thinking and co-creation workshops with clients, users, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct user testing to validate and refine design solutions for continuous improvement.
- Create visually engaging user interfaces that bring the defined user experience to life.
- Advocate for design thinking principles within multidisciplinary consulting or project teams.
- Undertake primary and secondary research on users, target audiences, competitors, and industry trends.
- Produce service design deliverables such as personas, journey maps, prototypes, and presentations.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, innovations, and best practices in UX, UI, and customer experience design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Service Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience as a design consultant or in a similar UI/UX design role.
- Demonstrated understanding of Service Design and Design Thinking methodologies, both conceptually and practically.
- Proven experience developing personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, user interfaces, and iterating rapidly based on user feedback.
- Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and illustration.
- Expertise in UX/UI design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Marvel, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to user research methods, both qualitative (e.g., interviews, workshops, ethnography) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, analytics, NPS).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging clients, users, and technical teams.
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English, including the ability to proofread and present work clearly.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating deep systems thinking, creativity, and the ability to translate insights into high-impact design solutions.
- Collaborative experience working with engineering, product, and research teams in an Agile environment.
