Job summary

A leading technology company based in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer for Automated Equipment and PC Setup. You will prepare and qualify machines for shipment, provide on-site support, and conduct system checks. Candidates should possess a diploma in relevant fields and have 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as communication in Mandarin, is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in machine setup, assembly and testing.
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools.
• Knowledge of motor tuning and vision systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and qualify machines for shipment.
• Provide on-site service and support as needed.
• Conduct system checks and troubleshooting.

Job description

Associate Engineer (Automated Equipment / PC Setup)

Prepare, set up, and qualify machines prior to crating and shipment to customers.

Provide on-site service support when required, both locally (Singapore) and overseas.

Conduct system checks, troubleshooting, and machine performance verification.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure machines meet quality and performance standards before delivery.

Maintain proper documentation for setup, testing, and qualification activities.

Requirements

• ITE or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics Engineering.
• With 2–4 years of machine setup, assembly and testing in BEOL of semiconductor.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical control and automation systems.
• Skilled in reading drawings, using measurement tools, and troubleshooting I/O systems.
• Knowledge of alignment, motor tuning, and vision systems is an advantage.
• Basic PC setup and programming skills; proactive and willing to take extra responsibilities.
• Able to speak in Mandarin to liaise with counterparts from China.
