Job Description

As an Executive (Volunteer Management), you will be pivotal in supporting the Age Well Everyday (AWE) program’s operations, focusing on volunteer management and community outreach under the guidance of the Director.

Key Responsibilities
Administration and Coordination
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director.
  • Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations at AWE clubs in community spaces.
  • Serve as a point of contact and Master Trainer for community volunteers.
  • Assist in organizing events, webinars, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Volunteer Management
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers for the AWE program.
  • Develop a tiered curriculum to train, refresh and engage volunteer leaders.
  • Lead and conduct face-to-face volunteer training session that combines elements from the e-learning portal.
  • Coordinate regular events to engage and support volunteers.
Community Outreach
  • Provide administrative support for various community outreach initiatives.
  • Facilitate coordination with community partners and stakeholders.
General Support
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and communication related to the program.
  • Support various ad hoc projects as directed by the Director.
Qualifications
  • Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent with 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Open to fresh graduates.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Discreet handling of confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and maturity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and outside of standard office hours.
