Job description
What You'll Do:
  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Onshore Receiving Facilities/Gasholder Station
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations of all associated equipment
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and decommissioning activities for equipment and piping systems
  • Review work processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
  • Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and initiate procurement to support routine maintenance and emergency needs
  • Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness
  • Manage and review monthly shift rosters to ensure optimal staffing and coverage
  • Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders
  • Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station
  • Lead and participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
  • Plan and provide budget for the Section
  • Develop and manage the section’s annual budget, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits
  • Oversee administrative matters related to staff welfare, including transport arrangements, overtime claims, and medical reimbursements, etc.
  • Perform standby duties outside regular office hours as required
What You'll Need:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline from recognised university by PEB, Singapore.
  • Experience in operations and maintenance in gas transmission network or gas facility or plant would be advantageous
  • Skills in project planning, execution and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
  • Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
