About the Role
A leading institution in art, design, and media education is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for research projects and grants. This role works closely with the Manager (Research) and the Associate Chair of Research to ensure smooth coordination and compliance across all research activities.

Contract Duration: 1 year
Salary Range: SGD 3,000 – SGD 4,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager (Research) in managing research projects and grants, including budget tracking, student assistant allocations, and payment processing

  • Ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, and funding agency requirements

  • Coordinate with faculty members, departments, and external partners to facilitate research operations

  • Process and track grant administration requests, expenses, and reconciliation reports

  • Prepare progress and final reports for submission to funding agencies

  • Maintain organized records and filing systems for research projects and documentation

  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with changing regulations and best practices

  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Chair of Research, including meeting scheduling, calendar management, and report preparation

  • Assist in preparing presentations, correspondence, and other materials

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support research administration and operations

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably with at least 3 years of experience in research administration, budget, and grant management

  • Proven experience providing administrative and project coordination support in a research or academic setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable with data tracking tools
