DESIGNATION

Executive Producer‑Presenter, Love 972

RESPONSIBILITIES

Entertain and inform audiences by presenting information and/or entertainment in an accessible and engaging way. Content delivery & presentation influences audience engagement, listenership and commercial revenue.

Scope of the role

Perform Shift Duty and production of trailers /capsules within the boundaries of IMDA ruling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specified air shifts duties and complete all production assignments i.e. trailers & capsules as assigned independently. Ensure good ratings for station.
• Conduct research on topics/themes to be discussed on shows. Integrates information from diverse sources, often involving large amounts of information. Sharing of relevant topics cross stations belts.
• Source for good interviewers and prepare interview questions for guests and lead the live discussions during shows.
• Discuss on air performances / review with PD/APD. Suggest ways to improve the show.
• Help to maintain station social media. Contribute to station's social media pages with relevant content.
• Produce catch up and new original podcast programs to meet the growing demand of digital audience.
• Adhere to the advertising and programme code set by the regulator(s). Follow strictly on station programming guidelines and SOPs. Able to make quick decisions and actions to move away from sensitive issues before it becomes out of bound.
• Fulfill personal appearance obligations at host and/or corporate client event(s) as assigned.
• Brainstorm ideas with PDs on benchmarks and contests, taglines, programming ideas for time belts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess at least ‘A' level or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in radio broadcasting / station perspectives.
• Good proficiency in Chinese language in order to host Chinese programmes.
• Keep abreast with current Chinese entertainment industry.
• A keen interest in entertainment and music.
• Mastery of use of studio equipment for on and off air production.
• Research skills.
• Ability to think on feet to handle difficult audience responds.
• Effectively bilingual.
• Excellent command in the language of the programming group.
• Personable and warm personality.
• Clear diction.
