Job scope:
  • Lead the creation and production of all baked goods, including artisan breads and café-style pastries.
  • Develop and implement seasonal pastry menus in accordance with franchise standards.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Operations Manager to ensure bakery items complement the café menu and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Continuously refine recipes, techniques, and production methods to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Follow established franchise recipes and ingredient specifications.
  • Supervise the complete baking process from mixing to proofing and final baking.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct daily quality checks to ensure freshness and product excellence.
  • Schedule production to align with business demand.
  • Manage food costs and labor budgets to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with management on pricing strategies and cost-control measures.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure high-quality ingredients at optimal prices.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory to maintain sufficient stock without over-purchasing.
  • Ensure ingredient freshness and consistency.
  • Ensure all bakery items contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain visual appeal and consistent portion sizes in all products.
  • Engage with customers to highlight bakery offerings and promote brand culture.
  • Address customer feedback, adjusting processes or products as necessary.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled and high-performing bakery team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Work alongside operations and management teams to align bakery output with business objectives.
  • Participate in planning and launching new products and marketing initiatives.
