Job summary

A governmental environmental agency in Singapore seeks a motivated individual to support its Communications & Community Engagement Division. This role involves planning and implementing digital communications strategies to raise awareness and engagement with NParks and the community. Job description
What the role is:

You will support the Communications & Community Engagement Division at NParks (HQ) in implementing effective communication strategies that will raise awareness of NParks and Singapore, our City in Nature.

What you will be working on:

You will be part of a dynamic communications team that spearheads strategic and integrated communications efforts to profile NParks and Singapore - our City in Nature. Specifically, you will be responsible for the planning and implementing of digital communications efforts that create awareness of NParks work, and promote a greater appreciation of our programmes, causes and initiatives. You will be part of the team that manages the various NParks social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, X and LinkedIn and work on developing engaging and experimental digital content to grow our online communities. You will be involved in the production of videos and other formats of digital content, working with external publishers and content creators for campaigns, and have opportunities to be exposed to strategic media relations and community engagement work.

What we are looking for:
  • Areas of study: Mass communications, marketing, or related discipline
  • Active social media user, with strong understanding of social media trends and digital technologies
  • Creative and passionate about content creation for different target segments, especially youths
  • Experience creating digital content for different platforms, with basic photography and video editing experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • A flair and passion for writing
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of English
  • A good team player
