Job Responsibilities
Business Administration Operations
- Contribute to recurring revenue streams. Ensure the billing for the activities during pandemic operation is well documented and to bill customer promptly. Evaluate and review processes to build higher capacity in support of business expansion
- Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of requirements and activities
- Participate and contribute to the values-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
- Constantly review the organisation’s governance, compliance issues and reporting processes and implement measures in daily work in compliance
- Adhere to organisation’s data governance and protection processes and focus on reviewing the effectiveness of the control measures and implementation
- Lead and constantly review the teams' demand to fulfil the workplace operational need
- Coordinate the utilisation of resources versus various customer demand and review the future demand and resource requirement
- Carry out continuous improvement to optimise the use of allocated resources
- Coordinate, review and implement the operational policies, standards and procedures
- Execute risk mitigation plans with periodic review on its effectiveness
- Be conversant with individual role and review resource plans within business activities
- Be conversant with the incident or crisis management plans and consolidate the input from operation team to enhance the plan
Business Process/Continuous Improvement
- Perform critical analysis of the process changes and propose mitigating measures to the gaps
- Provide cost benefit analysis through the manager on issues for further surface to management
- Review and document the business processes improvement solutions with particular to the pandemic operation. Facilitate a smooth transition from normal work processes to surge operation by communicating in details to the warehouse operation team
- Review the viability of the action plan on the corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations
- Align business need with the company's environmental protection policies and procedures
- Work with procurement and customer to manage the product lifecycle to ensure product efficacy and minimise obsolescence
- Constant review of business requirements throughout project lifecycle
- Propose enhancement and train the team on existing measures in SOPs to enhance quality standards
Safety and Health
- Participate in WSH activities and consolidate all documentation needs in support of the safety system management
- Participate and consolidate all documentation in safety and health risk assessment with emphasis to pandemic infection prevention
- Review effectiveness of corrective actions to address areas of non-conformance to WSH standards
- Process WSH risk assessment reports to determine hazards and preventive actions
- Manage WSH solutioning discussions around suggestions to improve existing processes
Technology Application
- Conduct periodic review and scanning of latest technology trends for adoption application to logistics business
- Coordinate interactions between internal and external partners and documentation to design and implement technology projects
- Plan key activities and milestones in technology projects and provide documentation support to the project management
- Consolidate reviews and make recommendation on areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes
- Adopt and make recommendation of new technology solutions and automations to replace inefficient processes
- Leverage on data analytics to strengthen decision making and future trend identification particularly towards supporting pandemic operation
- Conduct periodic evaluation of all forms of information and data flow to ensure effectiveness of operational need
- Conduct and evaluate effectiveness of learning activities, including learning materials on technology or electronic tools and devices
Sales and Customer Service
- Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders and review end to end supply chain effectiveness/gaps
- Analyse market needs and opportunities in key accounts within assigned verticals
- Analyse customer information and needs and make improvement to customer relationships
- Develop sales proposals in terms of costing for tender documents
- Develop action plans to enhance sales performance metrics and thus the sales outcomes
- Plan and monitor delivery of logistics products and services to meet customer requirements
- Review CAPA on lapses in delivery of logistics services to customers and recommend preventive measures
Warehousing, Cargo and Material Handling
- Plan the information flow for end-to-end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving, handling, distribution and storage. Ensure the pandemic operational plan is integrated into the warehouse workflow and be able to put in practice upon activation
- Plan the warehouse operations performance goals using quality management knowledge. Synergise the pandemic ops plan to the warehouse workflow to ensure optimal performance when activated
- Enforce daily ops in accordance to warehouse security plans
- Optimise usage of material handling systems in accordance to daily operational need
- Manage available resources to ensure cargo-handling schedules are met
- Streamline cargo documentation process according to industry standards or sector requirements
- Develop methods and techniques on managing dangerous goods and hazardous materials
- Review dangerous goods and hazardous materials operations
- Review the methods and techniques to manage time and temperature-sensitive cargo
- Review cargo consolidation solutions to optimise space, cost and efficiency
Requirement
- Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the related field
