Job Summary
The Executive – Operations (Warehouse and Cold Chain Management) plays a vital role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse, cold-chain, and transport operations within a smart, AI-enabled logistics ecosystem. The role ensures seamless coordination of inbound and outbound activities, temperature-controlled handling, and inventory accuracy while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability.
He/She is responsible for the development and execution of warehouse operational policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring full compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. This includes the accurate documentation, efficient coordination of deliveries and inventory movement, and the fulfilment of customer orders with precision and timeliness.
Using AI tools, automation systems, and data analytics, he/she continuously monitors and optimises storage capacity, resource utilisation, and workflow efficiency to drive productivity improvements. Analytical and logical in approach, the Executive evaluates operational challenges, explores innovative solutions, and assesses the feasibility of process enhancements.
The role also involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to implement technology-driven solutions, streamline processes, and support the effective management of the warehouse operations - contributing to service excellence and organisational performance in an evolving digital logistics landscape.
Job Responsibilities
Business Administration Operations
- Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of operational and administrative requirements and activities

- Support pilot projects involving robotics, digital twins, or predictive maintenance.
Sales and Customer Service
- Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders
- Communicate with key account managers to identify new businesses and grow relationships that assist in revenue generation within assigned verticals
- Plan delivery of logistics products and services that meet customer requirements
- Deploy logistics services that meet customer requirements
- Support customer-service operations by ensuring timely, accurate, and quality delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics and address service lapses to customers through root-cause analysis.

Transportation Operations
- Coordinate transport scheduling and routing using fleet management and AI route-optimisation tools.

Warehousing, Cargo and Material Handling
- Execute and monitor warehouse operations using AI-powered WMS, digital twins, and robotics (AGVs/AMRs) to optimise picking, packing, and storage efficiency.
- Develop warehousing standards for quality management systems by integrating AI-driven analytics to track performance metrics, detect quality deviations, and automatically recommend corrective actions in real time.
- Optimise warehouse design and operations using AI-driven simulation, digital twins, and predictive analytics to enhance layout planning, storage efficiency, and resource utilisation.
- Develop warehouse security plans
- Manage re-location of warehouses using predictive modelling and AI-based scenario planning to evaluate logistics network efficiency, relocation cost, and environmental impact before execution.
- Manage resources to ensure cargo-handling schedules are met
- Manage cargo documentation process according to industry standards or sector requirements
- Develop operational improvements based on performance measures using machine-learning insights to identify process bottlenecks, predict equipment downtime, and recommend continuous-improvement actions.
- Develop methods and techniques to better manage dangerous goods and hazardous materials with AI-driven risk-prediction models and automated compliance validation aligned with international safety standards (e.g., IMDG, IATA-DGR).
- Deploy machine learning and automation to forecast demand, improve cargo-handling schedules, and proactively manage dangerous goods and hazardous-materials operations.
- Leverage AI and IoT technologies to maintain cold-chain integrity, monitor temperature-sensitive cargo, and ensure real-time visibility across warehousing and handling activities.
- Manage time and temperature-sensitive cargo operations by using AI analytics to forecast temperature deviations, optimise cold-storage zones, and trigger real-time alerts for proactive corrective action.
- Deploy machine learning and automation to forecast demand, improve cargo-handling schedules, resource allocation and proactively manage dangerous goods and hazardous-materials operations.

Job Requirements

- 1-3 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering or relate field.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Basic knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS) / Supply Chain Software/ Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) Systems.
- Exposure to cold-chain management, automation, or data-analytics tools will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI applications, warehouse management systems (WMS), and IoT technologies preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and digital skills, with interest in AI-driven logistics.
