Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is looking for a shipping coordinator to handle shipping documents and manage claims. Candidates should have a diploma, at least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, and strong knowledge of shipping documents and SAP. The position requires coordination with various stakeholders and compliance with shipping regulations. Immediate starters preferred, with work on weekdays and weekends expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge in handling shipments and shipping documentation.
  • Comfortable to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Handle processing of shipping documents and monitor shipment movement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage damaged shipment claims.
  • Collaborate with Finance on invoice matters.
  • Coordinate with Facility Manager on detrash and recycling activities.
  • Ensure implementation of new processes or portals.
  • Comply with shipping regulations and customs requirements.
  • Prepare and update weekly/monthly reports.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Handle processing of shipping documents and closely monitor shipment movement and Proof of Delivery (POD) status.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage and coordinate damaged shipment claims.
  • Collaborate with Finance on supplier invoice matters.
  • Coordinate with Facility Manager and Warehouse on detrash and recycling activities.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new processes or portals related to shipments.
  • Comply with cross-border shipping regulations, customs requirements, and international trade compliance standards.
  • Prepare and update weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner.
Requirement:
  • Diploma and above
  • With minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge in handling shipment, shipping documentations
  • Knowledge in SAP system
  • Immediate starter will be a plus point
  • Comfortable to work on Weekday and Weekend
