Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore seeks an IT Support professional. Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting Windows 10 and associated software, managing hardware inquiries, and engaging with vendors. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in IT/Computer Science and 1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of network troubleshooting and an eagerness to adopt new technologies is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT Support or Information Systems.
  • Hands-on experience on Win10, Active Directory, and O365.
  • Entry-level network troubleshooting skills and understanding of networking.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and MS Office.
  • Troubleshoot printers, projectors, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support queries and issues reported by end users.
  • Engage with vendors to resolve HW/SW issues.
  • Track hardware and software inventory via ITAM software.
  • Familiarize end users with software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Administer IP telephony systems.
  • Administer VPN users.
  • Work with other operation teams to resolve issues.
  • Travel between different sites in Singapore as necessary.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, projectors, and any other peripheral equipment
  • Deal with hardware (HW) and SW support queries and issues reported by end users
  • Engage with vendors wherever required to resolve issues related to HW/SW
  • Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory via ITAM software
  • Familiarize end users on basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation
  • Responsible for administration of IP telephony systems
  • Responsible for administration of VPN users
  • Work with other operation teams to resolve issues
  • Travel between different sites in Singapore when necessary
  • Perform other tasks as designated by the management
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 1 - 2 years of experience in IT Support or Information Systems
