Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in HR, strong knowledge of local employment laws, and proficiency in HR systems and MS Office. The role requires a detail-oriented and independent individual capable of working with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience.
- Hands-on experience managing local and foreign employment matters.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for local and expatriate hires.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and conduct employee orientation.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.

Recruitment & Selection
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for local and expatriate hires
- Source, screen, and arrange interviews with shortlisted candidates
- Prepare employment offers, contracts, and HR documentation
- Process work permit and visa applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with MOM regulations
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding schedules, induction programs, and system setup
- Prepare welcome materials and conduct employee orientation
- Manage exit formalities, clearance documentation, and final settlements
Training & Development
- Coordinate internal and external training programs
- Maintain and update training and competency records
HR Administration
- Support payroll, leave, and benefits administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Assist with insurance renewals, audits, and government submissions
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience
- Solid knowledge and hands‑on experience with Singapore employment laws, work pass, and visa regulations
- Experienced in managing both local and foreign employment matters
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
- Independent, detail‑oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
