Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in HR, strong knowledge of local employment laws, and proficiency in HR systems and MS Office. The role requires a detail-oriented and independent individual capable of working with minimal supervision.

Recruitment & Selection
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for local and expatriate hires
  • Source, screen, and arrange interviews with shortlisted candidates
  • Prepare employment offers, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Process work permit and visa applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with MOM regulations
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules, induction programs, and system setup
  • Prepare welcome materials and conduct employee orientation
  • Manage exit formalities, clearance documentation, and final settlements
Training & Development
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs
  • Maintain and update training and competency records
HR Administration
  • Support payroll, leave, and benefits administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
  • Assist with insurance renewals, audits, and government submissions
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Solid knowledge and hands‑on experience with Singapore employment laws, work pass, and visa regulations
  • Experienced in managing both local and foreign employment matters
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
  • Independent, detail‑oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
