Job summary

A financial services company based in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented financial operator. Responsibilities

• Carry out financial and accounting operations by ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely updates for all financial transactions.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions promptly and with precision.
• Track outstanding AR and manage the debt recovery process.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements, as well as financial and management reports, for review by the Supervisor/Officer-in-Charge.
• Verify expenditure claims, financial records, and reports to ensure compliance with current policies, guidelines, and accounting standards.
• Conduct briefings or training sessions for finance personnel on policies, procedures, and system usage.
• Safeguard financial documents and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of customer financial information.
• Address customer enquiries related to financial transactions and accounting postings.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance or accounting.
• Working knowledge of SAP is n advantage.
• A team player who is meticulous, independent, and analytical.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
