Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events such as workshops, networking sessions, award ceremonies, gala dinners, and overseas missions.
- Support the end-to-end event management process, including concept development, venue sourcing, vendor liaison, logistics coordination, budgeting, and on-site execution.
- Work closely with the secretariat team and EXCO task forces to ensure event objectives, deliverables, and communications are aligned.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote events and programmes, including creating content for social media, eDMs, and website updates.
- Coordinate with designers and external vendors to produce event collaterals, presentations, and publicity materials.
- Manage event registration, communications, and post-event engagement, including follow-ups, surveys, and reports.
- Liaise with sponsors, partners, and vendors to ensure seamless event and marketing delivery.
- Assist in curating meaningful programmes and guest experiences that reflect the Chamber’s mission and values.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of events and marketing initiatives, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support administrative tasks such as taking minutes, scheduling meetings, and handling ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proven experience in planning and executing events of varying scale (corporate or design-related preferred).
- Strong understanding of marketing communications, including social media, eDM, and brand storytelling.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable using tools such as Canva, Eventbrite, and Mailchimp.
- Good writing and communication skills to create event and marketing content.
- Knowledge of social media and digital engagement platforms is an advantage.
- Photography and/or videography skills are a plus.
