About the Role

At Metropolitan YMCA (MYMCA), we believe in nurturing youth, strengthening families, and serving the community through meaningful programmes and sustainable enterprises.

The Executive, Corporate Communications & Membership plays a key role in strengthening MYMCA’s brand presence and deepening engagement with members, partners, and the wider community. This position integrates corporate communications, digital marketing, public relations, and membership management to inspire participation, grow community connections, and build a strong sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies that reflect MYMCA’s mission, values, and community impact.
  • Strengthen relationships with media, members, partners, and stakeholders through effective storytelling and engagement.
  • Plan and execute campaigns, events, and membership initiatives that connect people to MYMCA’s purpose.
  • Oversee membership administration and engagement, ensuring accurate data and meaningful member experiences.
  • Track and analyse communications and membership outcomes to inform strategies and improve outreach efforts.

  • Consistent and values-driven brand visibility across platforms
  • Positive and proactive media and stakeholder engagement
  • Timely and impactful execution of campaigns, events, and membership initiatives

Qualifications & Attributes
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in corporate communications, marketing, or community engagement
  • Strong writing, design sense, and storytelling ability with a heart for purpose-driven communication
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media management, and CRM systems
  • A collaborative spirit with creativity, initiative, and a passion for community work
