Job summary

A leading utilities group in Singapore seeks a candidate to manage electricity supply applications and perform related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have a diploma and 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle stress. This is a contract position for 1 year, located in Kallang Sector.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to handle stress and work under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Process electricity supply applications.
  • Monitor performance statistics.
  • Prepare performance reports.
  • Tag tenant meters.
  • Raise refunds for service quotations.
  • Check and issue service connection quotations.
  • Issue payment acknowledgement letters.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on supply application matters.
  • Attend to inquiries via various communication methods.
  • Coordinate meetings with relevant parties.
  • Assist in assigned special projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Section.

Job description

Leading Utilities Group company

Duration: 1 year, extendable/convertible

Working Location: Kallang Sector

Working hours: 08.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities
  • Perform processing of electricity supply applications
  • Monitoring of performance statistics
  • Preparation of supply applications performance and remittance report
  • Perform tagging of tenant meters
  • Raise refunds for service quotations
  • Check and issue service connection quotations
  • Issue payment acknowledgement letters
  • Liaise with LEWs, customers and SPPG on supply application matters
  • Attend to customers, LEWs and Principals’ enquiries via letter, email and verbal correspondences
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with customers, LEWs and Principals
  • Assist in special projects assigned
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Section
Qualifications
  • Diploma in any discipline from a local Polytechnic with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Possess strong analytical & problem‑solving skills with a positive customer‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to handle stress and work under tight timeline
