Job description

Job Purpose:

To manage the day-to-day accounts payable (AP) activities, ensuring timely, accurate, recording of all vendors transactions, intercompany payables, and cash movements. The role supports smooth financial operations through diligent processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process vendor invoices ensuring supporting documentation prior to payment.
• Perform invoice matching and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute payment runs in line with agreed payment terms and the company's approval matrix.
• Maintain and update the daily cash book for all bank accounts for 1 entity.
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing payments.
• Reconcile daily bank balances.
• Support cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare accounts payable and intercompany schedules for month-end closing activities.
• Address vendor queries and resolve issues related to payments or account reconciliation.
• Collaborate closely with the SOA team, Operations teams to verify cost details and address discrepancies.
