Overview

Our client is a well-established Japanese asset management firm based in Singapore, known for its long-standing track record in globally diversified investments tailored to high-net-worth individuals. They are hiring Execution Trader / Corporate Access Coordinator (Japanese speaker).

The firm operates with a lean, collaborative team and offers a flexible, supportive work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who find fulfillment in supporting investment operations and contributing to a steady, detail-oriented workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute trades in global equities and fixed income instruments
  • Manage post-trade settlement processes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate investor relations (IR) meetings with listed companies and prepare meeting minutes
  • Monitor portfolio positions and performance
  • Support discretionary account operations and liaise with private banks for order placement
  • Communicate with brokers and custodians to ensure smooth trade execution
  • Apply fundamental knowledge of equities and bonds in daily operations
  • Track relevant news, earnings releases, and corporate actions related to portfolio holdings
  • Provide administrative support to the firm’s principal, including scheduling and documentation
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in securities, asset management, or private banking
  • Hands-on experience in trade execution and settlement operations
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, including equities and fixed income
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English for internal and external communication
  • High attention to detail and a cautious, methodical approach to work
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and processing orders with precision
  • Familiarity with middle and back-office functions and workflows
