Job summary

COFCO International is a global agri-business focused on grains, oilseeds and sugar. The Execution Executive will manage end-to-end contract execution, shipping documentation and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth shipments and timely settlement of documents.

The role requires 5–6 years of hands-on contract execution experience, plus English proficiency and Mandarin language capability. Prior sugar trading or related agri-commodities experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with solid work experience.
• 70% fluent in English, 30% Mandarin.
• 5–6 years hands-on experience in contract execution.
• Sugar trading experience or agri commodities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Split contracts for ventures (shipments planning and nominations).
• Follow through on bulk/break bulk/containers including loading, discharging and payments.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing from shippers / various origins.
• Timely claims settlements (Laytime calculations/final price) with counterparties.

Execution Executive

Execute operations activities for both physical sugar trades for the COFCO INTL Sugar business. Includes the full execution of all aspects of contract management, shipping documentation, co-ordinating with numerous functions and relevant parties to ensure smooth execution of shipment and turnaround of documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Split contracts for ventures (planning of shipments and timely nominations to shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS)
• Follow through on bulk/break bulk/containments/trucksincluding loading, discharging and payments
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing from shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS
• Timely claims settlements (eg. Laytime calculations/final price less provisional) with shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS

Education and Qualifications

• Degree qualified or Diploma with solid and proven work experience.
• 70% fluent in both written and spoken English / 30% for Mandarin

Experience

• At least 5-6 years of hands on experience in all aspects of Contract Execution and associated activities.
• Candidates with experience in sugar trading will have an added advantage or alternatively experience in other agri commodities is also preferred.

• Opening and negotiation of Letters of Credit.
• Letters Of Indemnity
• Charter Parties and container freight booking terms and conditions
• All forms of shipping documents
• Demurrage / Despatch calculations
