A dynamic staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an Events Specialist for managing event execution across the JAPAC region. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in event operations, technical proficiency, and strong project management skills. This role involves liaising with diverse teams and ensuring seamless coordination. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.

Role Summary

As an Events Specialist for our client, you'll manage event execution and programs across JAPAC. You'll link teams and partners, driving operational excellence and process optimization. We seek a passionate, scrappy self-starter who excels at turning complex logistics into seamless experiences.

Role
  • Manage the operational execution of all events (virtual and IRL) across the JAPAC region, including weekly livestreams, in-person events, and conference sponsorships.
  • Execute all event logistics support and manage the execution of third-party sponsorships.
  • Create a holistic swag strategy and manage vendor relationships.
  • Drive operational excellence by building out and maintaining event registration and promotion tactics.
  • Liaise between internal teams (marketing, sales, advocacy) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage and track attendees, event metrics, and budget, applying sound business judgment.
  • Take initiative on projects, demonstrating autonomy while actively involving peers, customers, and community members in the process.
  • Consistently show creativity in projects, bringing new and bold ideas to the table, and isn't afraid to try innovative approaches.
You
  • 4+ years of experience in event operations, logistics, or production, ideally in a tech or creative industry.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and project management expertise, with a transparent and thoughtful process for organising complex projects.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and contracts.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and time management.
  • Experience working with event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Splash), and work management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Notion).
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and collaborating with stakeholders across time zones.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.

Contract Type: 3 months fixed-term contract with another 12 months extension after confirmation
