The Executive will coordinate events from planning to execution, manage publicity efforts, and support the operational needs of the Centre.
Responsibilities
- Programme Planning & Coordination
- Conceptualise and organise recreational, educational, and wellness programmes.
- Coordinate with community partners, NGOs, and volunteers on event logistics and implementation.
- Ensure all programmes are well-documented, evaluated, and aligned with engagement objectives.
- Event Marketing & Publicity
- Prepare and distribute event publicity materials (e.g. posters, digital content).
- Promote activities through social media and community channels to maximise participation.
- Assist in capturing photos, videos, and success stories for reporting.
- Operational Support
- Assist in venue setup and coordination during events.
- Support daily centre operations, including visitor assistance and activity scheduling.
- Partnership & Volunteer Management
- Liaise with external partners to co-organise programmes.
- Recruit, brief, and manage volunteers for community activities.
- Reporting & Administration
- Maintain programme databases and attendance records.
- Prepare post-event reports and expenditure summaries.
- Support procurement and documentation processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in event management, community engagement, or recreation-related roles.
Skills & Competencies
- Creative, energetic, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design tools (e.g. Canva) preferred.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends for events.
