An event management company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Manager to plan and execute events from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field, along with proven experience in event planning, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in event management software. This role requires excellent communication abilities and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Plan and execute events from conception through to completion, including venue selection, logistics, budget management, and post-event evaluation.
Coordinate event logistics, including securing permits, coordinating vendors, managing guest lists, and overseeing event setup and breakdown.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and print materials.
Manage event registration processes, including online registration platforms, ticket sales, and attendee communication.
Ensure smooth event operations on the day of the event, including managing staff and volunteers, overseeing crowd control, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with event stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, speakers, and attendees.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event management.
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event registration platforms and project management software.
Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, with experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
