Job summary

A leading HR services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee end-to-end event planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality or lifestyle industry. Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, event budgets, and leading on-site staff. Candidates must be willing to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and have a Class 3 driving license as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing end-to-end event planning and execution, from initial layout design to final teardown, including floor plans, event set-up, and technical requirements.
• Managing vendor relationships, sourcing and negotiating contracts for services and equipment, and ensuring quality and compliance.
• Developing and managing event budgets, timelines, and production schedules to ensure all milestones are met within scope.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute a cohesive event strategy.
• Leading on-site event staff, including team coordination, delegation of duties, and performance management.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree and above
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality/lifestyle industry
• Able to accept shift work that includes night duties and commit to working on weekends and public holidays
• Able and willing to travel between venues to assist with on-site event coordination
• Candidates with Class 3 driving license an advantage
