Job summary

A leading events management company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale events. Job description
The Role
  • Oversee the contractual and operational delivery of a portfolio of large-scale events, ensuring robust contract governance, risk management, and commercial optimization.

  • Drive sales and partnerships for flagship summits, including conferences, exhibitions, client receptions, and hybrid activations.

  • Manage end-to-end event delivery, ensuring each event meets brand standards, adheres to budget and schedule, and provides a positive experience for clients, attendees, and sponsors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, vendors, and sponsors, ensuring all entitlements and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sponsorship, finance, procurement) and external vendors (venue, catering, AV, logistics) to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Lead contract negotiation and management for all event-related agreements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and international regulations.

  • Support the development of event plans, including timelines, floor plans, vendor schedules, and staffing rosters.

  • Provide onsite event management, overseeing setup, registration, guest services, and real-time issue resolution.

  • Implement process improvements and ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing, contracts, insurance, and risk mitigation practices.

  • Monitor and report on event outcomes, including attendee satisfaction, sponsor feedback, and financial reconciliation.

What are we looking for?
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in event coordination, project support, or marketing operations, preferably within Singapore or Southeast Asia.

  • Experience working with government, security, defence, or high-tech industries is an advantage; familiarity with international trade shows is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work with diverse international stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends during event periods.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive process improvements.

  • “Can-do” attitude with a focus on achieving objectives and maintaining high standards.
