Job summary

Scent Journer is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to engage customers, recommend fragrances, and share brand stories at weekend pop-ups across Singapore. You will manage booths, assist with setup, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have retail fragrance experience, strong communication skills, and availability to work Thursday to Sunday in November (minimum 8 hours daily). Hourly pay ranges from $10 to $12.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in perfume/fragrance to assist customers.
• Commit to every weekend in November (Thu-Sun, min 8 hours/day).
• Willingness to travel between pop-up locations in Singapore.
• Presentable and professional appearance.
• Confident communication with customers.

Job Summary

Join Scent Journer as a part-time Retail Sales Associate to engage customers, recommend fragrances, share brand stories, and manage pop-up booths across various Singapore locations every weekend in November.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the fragrance collection to enhance their shopping experience
• Recommend scents tailored to each customer's preferences to help them find a fragrance they love
• Share the story behind the brand and each fragrance to deepen customer connection and brand loyalty
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth checkout
• Maintain a tidy and well-stocked booth to create an inviting shopping environment
• Assist with setup and pack-down of the pop-up booth to support event operations
• Travel to different pop-up locations across Singapore each weekend to support brand presence

Required competencies and certifications

• Prior retail experience in the perfume or fragrance industry to effectively assist customers
• Ability to commit to every weekend in November (Thursday to Sunday, minimum 8 hours daily) to ensure consistent staffing
• Comfortable traveling to different locations in Singapore weekly to support pop-up events
• Presentable and well-groomed appearance to represent the brand professionally
• Confident communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Retail experience in fragrance preferred

Hourly pay: $10 - $12 per hour

• F1 Pit Building: 19 Nov (5pm-10pm), 20, 21 Nov (11am-9pm), 22 Nov (10am-7pm)
• Marina Bay Sands: 26 Nov (3pm-9pm), 27, 28 Nov (11am-9pm), 29 Nov (11am-7pm)
