Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an Event Executive to support in planning, coordination, and execution of events. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Events or Hospitality, with 0-2 years of experience. Responsibilities include assisting in event setup and communication with vendors. The position is a 3-month contract convertible to permanent. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Overview

Office location: Dhoby Ghaut

Work days: Monday - Friday

Work hours: 8 hours per day across 9.00am - 9.00pm

Start Date: Immediate

3 months contract convertible to perm

The Event Executive supports the Event Lead in planning, coordination, and execution of events and venue bookings. The role focuses on operational support, including event setup and teardown, basic AV assistance, administrative coordination, and on-site support to ensure smooth and successful event operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of events, meetings, workshops, and venue bookings

  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and on-site operational support

  • Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and internal teams on event requirements

  • Prepare quotations, booking forms, and event-related documentation

  • Assist with client communications, confirmations, and post-event follow-ups

  • Maintain accurate event schedules, records, and administrative documentation

  • The event executive will work with the event lead for budget, sponsorship, and post event evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Events, Hospitality, or related fields

  • 0–2 years of relevant events experience

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude

  • Comfortable assisting with basic AV setup and troubleshooting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners
