Job summary

TSMG in Singapore is seeking experienced Vehicle Test Drivers to support the testing of new electric vehicles (EVs) for a targeted market launch. You will drive camouflaged prototype EVs on predefined routes, visit selected EV charging stations to test charging availability, and work with a client-side engineer to ensure the charging process functions as expected.

Responsibilities include driving prototypes, verifying charging at stations, recording issues, and adhering to testing procedures.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required.
Clear MVR for the past 5 years.
Clean criminal background check.
Experience in automotive, vehicle testing, mapping, data collection, or similar projects.
Previous EV experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive prototype EVs on predefined routes within the assigned region.
Visit selected EV charging stations and test charging availability.
Check charging station availability via vehicle/app and verify charging process.
Record and report issues or unexpected behavior during tests.
Follow testing procedures and routes with engineers present.
Travel as required for the project, potentially cross-border travel where applicable.
Maintain high safety and responsibility when operating prototypes.
